Spring 2011 will see a fabulous change in attitude, moving away from the minimalist trends from Winter to glamorous larger necklaces returning to a similar yet more trendy twist on the ‘bib necklaces’ we have seen of late. Chokers are back too in full force! Embellished with beautiful jewels, hand crafted to sheer perfection.
Larger earrings are back too, shoulder length and beautifully designed, lighter to wear yet still providing chic appeal. Bolder bracelets and ‘cuffs’ abound too, telling their own story, etched with ‘quotes’ and many in the boldest colours we have seen in a long time.
Jewelry is making a big come back, literally, minimalism is now in the past. Watch out for the January sales if you are a savvy shopper, who knows, you may find a bargain which will take you right through Spring/Summer 2011. Alternatively if you are looking for something a little different, why not go down the bespoke route and buy online through a bespoke jeweller who creates all by hand from the initial design to the final piece.
Watch out for bib necklaces and longer length earrings too, though do wear them separately. Cuff bracelets are fabulous worn with earrings as they compliment each other.
